As part of the “3DandVRforVET” project, the third international project meeting of the consortium was held on 8th July, organized by the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula and the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MediLS). Representatives of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula were Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić, project manager; Ivona Peternel,PhD – Head of the Office for Partnerships and Projects and Kristina Hlavati Bertoncelj, expert associate for international projects and programs.
The Medical School of Pula and the Industria- Craft School Pula attended the meetings, as well as representatives of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca from Romania. Representatives of the partner University Sorost – I – Norge from (Norway) and Tamara Milošević (Inscied, France) also participated virtually. This was the first time that the partners met physically, since it was imposible until now due to the pandemic situation with COVID-19. The director of MediLS, Jelena Ružić, opened the meeting with a welcome speech, and Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić, general project manager gave an introductory presentation of the work program.
Ivona Peternel, PhD, presented the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula and strategic directions. She also presented the Office for Partnerships and Projects as well as possible future cooperation activities. The partners presented the organizations they come from, while the central theme was work on the intellectual result two. An important topic was also financial management, quality management of the executive team meeting.
The next day, the first “3D4VR conference” was held, which was opened with a welcome speech by academician Professor Miroslav Radman, Prof. Marinko Škare, Vice-Rector for Research, Arts and Cooperation (Juraj Dobrila University of Pula) and Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić, general project manager.
Ivona Peternel, PhD, presented the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula. The Director of the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, Antonija Gladović, presented the possibilities of the new Erasmus program for the period 2021-2027. Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić presented the project results. Branka Bernard, PhD, presented the application of 3D and VR technology in medicine.
The afternoon section was reserved for workshops, networking events and an interactive project fair The participants were the Medical School Split, the Technical School of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Split, the Secondary School Livno, the Faculty of Pharmacy Sarajevo and the Craft Technical School Split. The conference gathered more than a hundred participants.
